Transparents.org shows out in Barcelona by an action addressed to governments and banks

With the aim to achieve a stronger transparency of governments and banks, this morning the signatories of the Manifesto Transparents.org have made public their requests and compromises throughout a moving action in the centre of Barcelona. By using as material just transparent objects (a placard and some transparent umbrellas) and with the web site www.transparents.org as unique graphic element, some of the members of Ciutadania Activa have made public their request for transparency throughout an action of pacific protest in front of the Banco de España, in the plaça Catalunya, in front of the Caixa Catalunya and, finally, in the plaça Sant Jaume. The slogan which has been sang in many occasions is “against the crisis, transparency”. After the action which took place in front of the Banco de España, some representatives of the group have entered inside

and have delivered a letter to the director, addressed to the Governor of this bank.

This morning action has been followed with much interest by people stepping by through the centre of Barcelona, and they have been given information flayers and have been invited to join the campaign Transparents.org.
